Thomas L. Sutton, MD

We're eager to introduce our physician, Dr. Thomas Sutton, who is practicing pediatric gastroenterology at Utah Valley Pediatric Specialists in Provo. Dr. Sutton earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond before completing a pediatric residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he later returned to serve as Chief of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Division. Dr. Sutton also spent over a year in Iraq, serving as a Battalion Flight Surgeon, Medical Officer, and the officer in charge of the Combined Aviation Aid Station.

The winner of many research awards, Dr. Sutton has published very widely and been a featured speaker at many national medical conferences. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology and currently belongs to the Society of U.S. Army Flight Surgeons.
