Last week, SCL Health’s Heart & Vascular Institute - Vascular Surgery relocated to a new state-of-the-art facility conveniently located two floors up from the current space at 2643 Patterson Road, fourth floor. The clinic’s move up to the sixth floor will provide an expanded space, allowing SCL Health physicians to meet growing demand for vascular needs on the Western Slope.

“Our mission in Western Colorado is to ensure easy access to high-quality care, close to home,” said Lee Syphus, Vice President of Operations for Montana and Western Colorado. “The new space makes it even easier for our patients.”

In addition to ease of access, the new clinic space will offer an array of conveniences, from check-in kiosks to flat-screen monitors and recliners in every exam room. Where possible, the new clinic will also offer video visits and e-visits, which allow patients to enter symptoms and photos into an online form for a provider to review and get back to with recommendations within hours.

“When we expand access to care, we can positively impact the health of our entire community,” said Syphus. “Identifying and addressing gaps in care is core to our mission and our promise to deliver comprehensive care where it’s most needed. With this expansion, we’re continuing to deliver on that promise.”
