Four Utah Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness Centers to Close July 26

Four Intermountain Health Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness Centers will close on July 26, 2024, due to the low number of people using those centers. The four centers are located in Ogden, Salt Lake City, Provo, and St. George, Utah. The center at Park City Hospital will remain open.

Approximately 43 employee jobs are affected by this. It is hoped that most will transition to another position within Intermountain Health. Intermountain currently has hundreds of open in-person and remote positions available.

Intermountain Health will continue to offer proactive health and wellness services at other locations such as chronic disease management and virtual lifestyle medicine support, in a more accessible, and financially sustainable model. This will allow us to reach more members and patients who will benefit from improved health outcomes the most.
