Introducing Lloyd Perino, MD

We're pleased to introduce our GI doctor, Lloyd Perino, MD. Dr. Perino earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, where he graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago (Pritzker) School of Medicine. He returned to the University of Colorado for his Internal Medicine residency and his gastroenterology fellowship and was offered the Medical Chief Residency position.

Dr. Perino is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His medical interests include abdominal pain, ulcers, reflux, irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and the treatment and elimination of Barrett’s Esophagitis.

Dr. Perino brings more than 25 years of medical experience and has long-standing experience in performing endoscopic procedures including all aspects of upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. He enjoys golf, cycling, tennis and photography. He is currently working towards obtaining his private pilot’s license.
