Introducing Charles Katz, MD

The Alta View Specialty Clinic is proud to introduce Dr. Charles Katz, who practices adult and pediatric otolaryngology (ENT), treating disorders of the ear, nose, and throat.

Dr. Katz earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he remained for residencies in General and Head and Neck Surgery. He was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1992 and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

Since 1992, Dr. Katz has been in private practice in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, working at prestigious institutions such as St. Luke’s Episcopal and The Methodist Hospitals. Although he practices general otolaryngology, he has particular interests in the surgical management of sinusitis and obstructive sleep apnea.

For many years, Dr. Katz was a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine and was an active member of the hospital staff. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards and was named as a 'Texas Super Doctor' by Texas Monthly on more than one occasion.

A devoted athlete and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Katz has completed 19 marathons including the Boston, New York, Houston, and Pikes Peak marathons.
