Hospice and Palliative Care Honored
Wheat Ridge, CO - Lutheran Hospice and Palliative Care have been named winners of the “Tipping Point Challenge,” and were also named to the Honor Roll. The challenge is supported by the John A. Hartford Foundation and the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC).
The goal of the challenge was to “help healthcare organizations expand the ability to effectively care for seriously ill patients by enhancing skills among clinicians in all medical specialties treating serious illness.” These include communication, pain management and symptom management skills.
