Holy Rosary Healthcare Presents Montana Community Mental Health Center with a $20,000 Donation

Intermountain Healthcare and Holy Rosary Healthcare recognize the value of collaborating with community organizations to further its mission. As a part of the ongoing community benefit program, Intermountain approved $525,000 in Community Contributions to nine partners in Colorado and Montana to support health improvement programming. The funds are being given through contributions to qualified non-profit and governmental partners.

In Miles City, Intermountain Healthcare presented a $20,000 donation to the Montana Community Mental Health Center. The center provides quality, professional, comprehensive mental health, and substance abuse treatment services to the citizens of Eastern Montana in ways that respect the dignity of our citizens and communities.

“We prioritize giving as we respond to the community health priorities identified by community members to allow for a broader impact,” shared Karen Costello, Holy Rosary Healthcare President. “The Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is well positioned to help people live healthier and happier lives with its crucial services and resources.”

The Community Contributions are about continuing the organization’s legacies in the communities they serve, Intermountain's commitment to community, and addressing the community health needs uncovered during our Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) in 2018 and 2021. The contributions were made in the following categories: Improve Mental Well-Being, Address the Social Determinants of Health, and Improve Access.

“As part of our mission to help people live healthier lives, we support community organizations that provide services that align with Intermountain’s mission and values,” said Mark Korth, Intermountain Healthcare Region President. “We are committed to helping support organizations like the Montana Community Mental Health Center and others in the communities we serve.”
