Holy Rosary Healthcare Investing in the Miles City Community

475x285HRHConstruction

Miles City, MT - If you’ve visited Holy Rosary recently, you’ve undoubtedly noticed a lot of activity happening on our campus. We have several projects currently underway and many recently-completed projects, thanks to quality relationships with SCL Health planning and construction partners, the Jackson Contractor Group and many other skilled professionals here in our community.

Each of these projects has been designed to improve efficiency, safety, and access; in short, we’re investing in improving the care you receive by improving the facility in which we provide it.

The recent renovation of our cancer center has delivered an improved, comforting and healing environment to oncology patients. Our patients are also able to access exceptional oncology specialists at St. Vincent Healthcare via telemedicine without having to travel outside of our region.

On the exterior of the building, we are addressing water entry issues identified during the cancer center remodel. A skilled team of engineers, construction and safety professionals has proactively monitored and addressed the situation impacting the building's exterior. Warmer weather is now allowing contractors to continue this work—which is why we currently have blue safety fencing surrounding most of the perimeter of our building. The protection and wellbeing of our patients, residents and associates has been and will remain our number one priority throughout this and all of our projects.

You will also see construction crews working on the southeast corner of the facility. They are installing a new, larger oxygen storage tank. This tank allows us to deliver oxygen directly to areas throughout our facility quickly and safely. The installation is another proactive step to accommodate anticipated future demands and expanded services.

Holy Rosary has been nationally recognized as one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for three consecutive years and our Residential Living has a 5-Star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid for the quality of care we provide. Keeping our facilities up-to-date ensures that we maintain that high level of quality, which is why SCL Health and Holy Rosary are allocating all of the necessary resources to make that happen.

These investments are only some of the many ways that we’re caring for and investing in our community. We appreciate your partnership in keeping accessible and exceptional medical care here in Eastern Montana.
