Dr. J.P. Valin Recognized For Demonstrating What's Right In Health Care

Broomfield, CO - SCL Health today announced that Dr. J.P. Valin, Executive Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer, has received the What’s Right in Health Care® Healthcare Hero Award. The award was presented during the 19th annual What’s Right in Health Care® conference.

Dr. Valin is responsible for integrating and providing direction for all clinical activity across the continuum. In this role, he manages the full scope of the Medical Group and Provider Services division to achieve a thriving delivery structure, successful performance improvement standards, a successful practice environment for providers, and improved clinical quality, population health, and financial outcomes.

The What’s Right in Health Care® Hero Award is given out by Huron, a global healthcare consultancy. The annual award honors individuals who are having a positive impact on the healthcare industry. They live the organization’s values and have significantly impacted results related to enhancing the patient experience, employee and physician engagement, improving the organization with innovative ideas, and providing outstanding service to improve the health within their communities.

The recipients of the 2021 What’s Right in Health Care® Hero Award include:
