Depressed Dads More Likely To Spank
Dr. Neal Davis is a lead author on a study that was recently released online in the journal Pediatrics. The research was recently covered in the New York Times, KSL.com, and the Standard-Examiner.
As the KSL.com story relates, Dr. Davis found that depressed fathers were nearly four times more likely to spank their 1-year-old children. Dr. Davis says that postpartum depression affects ten percent of American fathers.
