As America gets ready to celebrate its 250th anniversary of the founding of the nation, Intermountain Health is helping new parents and their babies mark the occasion with a special America 250 onesie.

All babies born at Intermountain Health hospitals between July 1-7 will receive the commemorative onesie, along with a special America 250 certificate as an extra keepsake.

Intermountain hospitals across Utah will distribute 1,000 of these custom-made onesies to newborns. Babies in the NICU who will be spending the 4th of July holiday in the hospital will also receive this celebratory gift.

“Our caregivers love to celebrate all babies born in our hospitals and try to make every birth a special moment for the families,” said Amy Christensen, RN, regional chief nursing officer for Intermountain Health’s Utah hospitals. “When we can tie the celebration to a once in a lifetime event like America 250 it’s even more special for everyone involved.”

In 2025 Intermountain Health delivered 27,300 babies at their hospitals across Utah.
